Brief
Bugs made the move from Yuga Labs, home of Bored Ape Yacht Club and Meebits, to join Yauga as their new Business Development Manager. Yauga wanted to mark that moment properly. Not a standard announcement post, a proper cinematic introduction that told Bugs' story and welcomed him to the team in style.

Approach
The concept was built around Bugs finding himself - leaving behind the world he knew at Yuga Labs and answering a new call. Every element of the video was created from scratch to serve that story. The scenes, the music, all of it custom made to fit the vibe we wanted to land.
We set the world in a cinematic, lantern-lit environment that felt like the beginning of a journey rather than a corporate announcement. The Yauga branding is woven into the world naturally, appearing on lanterns and details in the environment rather than slapped on at the end. The phone box scene adds a moment of pause and self-reflection that grounds the whole piece. It feels human, even though it's built entirely in 3D.
The music was written specifically for this video, which made a real difference to how it all came together. Getting the tone right between something reflective and something exciting was the whole creative challenge, and we think it lands exactly where it needed to.
Results & Outcome
Posted by Yauga on X to announce Bugs joining the team, the video racked up 41,000 impressions with 233 likes and 72 reposts. For a one minute character introduction in the Web3 space, that's a brilliant result. The community loved it, and Bugs got the entrance he deserved!
