Brief

Yauga had landed their funding and they wanted to announce it in a way that matched the moment. No boring press release, a proper cinematic reveal that the community would actually want to watch. They came to us and we got to work!

Scope

1

Producing a short cinematic video to announce Yauga's funding round.

2

Creating an original story and concept to carry the announcement.

3

Building all environments and characters from scratch to serve the narrative.

Approach

We came up with a story that played perfectly into the tension and relief of the funding journey. A Meebit character is called into a dark, intimidating room - a single chair, a table, a document waiting to be signed. The kind of room that makes you nervous just looking at it. The robotic arm slides the contract across. He signs it. And then the whole mood flips - the robot produces a party hat, confetti explodes, and the YAUGA logo bursts onto screen.

It's a 69 second film that takes you from dread to celebration, which is probably exactly how the Yauga team felt after months of investor meetings. The contrast between the oppressive atmosphere of that room and the explosion of colour at the end is what makes it land. We had a lot of fun building this one!

Results & Outcome

3,291 views, 56 likes and 22 comments on the announcement post. For a funding announcement in the Web3 space, getting that kind of engagement on a piece of content this creative is a brilliant result. Yauga got to celebrate their milestone in style!
