The brief gave us something genuinely exciting to work with - a luxury spaceship with fully realised interior spaces, designed to feel like somewhere you'd actually want to spend time. Not a cold, utilitarian vessel. A destination.

We built two distinct environments inside the ship. The first was a warm, tropical lounge - rattan pendant lights, deep cushioned seating, a painted floral ceiling and blue LED strips running through the woodwork giving the whole space a soft, otherworldly glow. It feels like a high-end beach club that happens to be travelling through space, which is exactly the kind of contrast that makes it so memorable.

The second space was a futuristic spa and pool area - sleek, minimal and cool, with floor-level blue lighting, floating sun loungers and large windows looking out onto deep space imagery. The two spaces couldn't be more different in tone, and that range was deliberately part of showing the breadth and ambition of what Super Phoenix DAO were building.

Both environments were built in Blender and Unreal Engine 5, and the quality of the lighting work across both spaces was something we pushed really hard on. Getting the warmth of the lounge and the cool blue stillness of the pool area to each feel convincing and immersive took a lot of iteration, and we're really proud of the final result
