Building a space that needed to feel genuinely calming while also working as a functional live environment inside Portals was an interesting challenge. It couldn't just look good in screenshots, it had to feel right when people were actually inside it.

We modelled the space in Blender, centred around a serene outdoor meditation area with a lily pond, warm timber decking and soft natural light. At the heart of it sits a circular platform where a stylised MetaHuman figure strikes a yoga pose, grounding the space with a sense of purpose and practice without it feeling clinical or corporate. Once built, the space was hosted inside Portals and used for live group sessions with real students.

The result is somewhere that genuinely feels like a place you'd want to sit and breathe for a few minutes. Which, when you're welcoming students into university life for the first time, is exactly the point.
