

Brief
2025 was a development year for the Big Yellow Fishes team and as a result, we set aside some funding of our own to let our team develop a new product, allowing for as much independent creative input as possible - We wanted our team to create something they could be proud to call their own, and so 'I Don't Like Cereal' was born!

Approach
Meetings, test drawings, changes, more meetings, more designs, iterations and market research!
After many changes, the team finally settled on the name 'I Don't Like Cereal', as it evoked the exact emotions the art style and concept was aiming towards - nostalgia, rebellion and satire, all bundled up in an adorable universe of 'cereal boy' and his many, wild adventures!
'I Don't Like Cereal' is designed to be a premium clothing brand aimed at young adults! Championing the 'rubber hose' animation & art style, IDLC will feature the continued appearance of 'Cereal Boy' as well as a plethora of other, regular appearing characters.
Our first set of 4 designs were designed and our team began the process of arranging for our clothing to be manufactured. Once happy with the results, after a vigorous testing process, our team were ready to move onto the early stages of marketing, including a professional photoshoot, shot in-house by our team.


Results & Outcome
Currently in the refining process, our team are busy creating a new website for the brand as well as splicing together a trailer ready to introduce IDLC to the world.
